Grenfell Theatre Presents: Moliere's Tartuffe: A Newfoundland Adaptation By Andy Jones
Moliere’s comedy classic is ingeniously reimagined in Andy Jones' hilarious adaptation, set in 1930s Newfoundland. The original Tartuffe, by France's most celebrated comic playwright, is set in seventeenth-century Parisian high society during the reign of King Louis XIV. Jones' Tartuffe, set in the home of a wealthy fish merchant on the South Coast of Newfoundland, is a blazingly funny exploration of religious hypocrisy, with a unique Newfoundland twist.

Camber Arts Presents: The Prom
Get ready to sparkle!
Directed by Edmund MacLean, The Prom is a heartwarming, high-energy musical that proves love – and a good dance number – can change the world. When four Broadway stars in need of good press hear about a small-town teen who just wants to take her girlfriend to prom, they rush to save the day with jazz hands and big (and perhaps a little self-indulgent) hearts. But what starts as a publicity stunt becomes a genuine journey of acceptance, courage, and community. Bursting with showstopping tunes, laugh-out-loud moments, and tear-worthy joy, The Prom reminds us that everybody deserves to dance, to be seen, and to be celebrated for who they are.
