Everyone has a past, present, and future that shapes our humanity. We are often occupied with the past, overwhelmed with the present, or worried about the future. Developed and curated by Kernhappuch Gandu, Past, Present, Future invited artists in our community to explore the nostalgia of the past, its evolution, and growth to the present based in imagination of what the future may be.

Artists from across our province and creative milieu share work that speaks to this theme and the questions it prompts, including: Lauren Brinson, Meghan Dalley, Dave Dyment, Rebecca Feaver, Abigail Hatcher, Nicole Holloway, Megan Hutchings, Jakob Knudsen, Elijah Martel, Nasim Makaremi Nia, and Melissa Tremblett.

A variety of media and creative strategies ranging from tradition forms, such as embroidery and photography, to digital collage and reclaimed materials, explore histories of place, displaced and disappearing communities, and alternative
futures.
